Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • unsweetened chocolate, melted - 2 sq
  • baked 8-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make french silk pie:

Cream butter and sugar. Add melted chocolate and vanilla. Beat well. Add 1 egg and beat 5 minutes. Add second egg and beat additional 5 minutes. Make sure and beat a total of 10 minutes. Pour into pie shell and refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
