French fried onion rings
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 item
- beaten egg - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- large onions - 1 item
- undiluted canned milk - 1 item
How to make french fried onion rings:
Slice large, peeled onions about 1/4 inch thick. Separate into rings. Soak rings about 15 minutes in milk and drain slightly. Beat egg and add fresh milk. Roll rings in flour, then egg mixture and then in bread crumbs. Fry until golden brown. Drain on absorbent towels. Fry at 365°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Onions.
