  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3/4 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • onions - 1 item

How to make french fried onion rings:

Make batter from beating together the egg, flour, salt and milk. Dip onion rings into batter. Lower into hot fat (375°) to float. Fry until brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper.
