- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- catsup - 1 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 2 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- brown sugar to taste - 1 item
- medium head cabbage - 1 item
- dried onion - 1/2 c
How to make french cabbage soup:
Cook beef and onion. Cover cabbage and celery in water or beef broth. Cook until medium done. Add hamburger and remaining ingredients. Season to taste with brown sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer until done.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Main dish, One Dish meal.
