French breakfast puffs
Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1/3 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- flour
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter, melted - 6 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
How to make french breakfast puffs:
Mix shortening, egg, flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and milk together. Fill muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in 350° oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Then roll in melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and roll puffs in them.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Breakfast.
