French apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 item
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- nutmeg - 1/8 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- raisins - 1/2 c
- apples - 8 item
How to make french apple pie:
Topping:1 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar1 tsp. cinnamon1 stick butter1/2 c. chopped nuts Slice apples. Mix dry ingredients, toss together. Place in unbaked pie shell.Topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Mash into room temperature butter. It should be crumbly. Pour over apple pie. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes (check apples - should be tender).
