French apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
- beaten egg - 1 item
- apples, sliced - 7 item
- cinnamon or nutmeg - 1 tsp
- Mix with sugar, cinnamon or nutmeg and 2 tablespoons butter
How to make french apple pie:
Topping:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. flour1/2 c. brown sugar Peel, core and slice apples. Mix with sugar, cinnamon or nutmeg and 2 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle topping over apples. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° until done.Flaky Pie Crust:3 c. flour1 1/2 c. shortening1 beaten egg1 tsp. salt1/2 c. water1 Tbsp. vinegar Mix all together.
