Freezer pickles
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 4 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- onions, sliced - 2 c
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- cucumbers, sliced - 4 c
How to make freezer pickles:
Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and onions. Let stand 1 to 2 hours. Mix sugar, vinegar and mustard seed in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cool. When completely cold, pour over cucumbers. Leave out of freezer 2 to 4 hours, then put in containers and freeze.Recipe categories: American, Condiments, etc., Vegetables.
