Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- egg whites - 2 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
How to make forget 'em cookies:
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg whites (at room temperature) at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy; add salt. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in vanilla, chocolate morsels and pecans into beaten egg whites. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto aluminum foil-lined cookie sheets. Place in oven and immediately turn off heat. Do not open oven door for at least 8 hours. Carefully remove from aluminum foil. Yields about 3 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Lactose Free.
