Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg whites - 3 item
How to make foolproof meringue:
Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 cup water. Stirring constantly, cook over medium heat until clear. Cool completely (may refrigerate). Beat egg whites with salt until they form peaks. Stir in cooled cornstarch mixture. Beat until creamyRecipe categories: Pie, Pies and tarts, Cakes.
