Fluffy dumplings
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 3
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- sifted flour - 1 c
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
How to make fluffy dumplings:
Sift dry ingredients and mix. Combine milk and oil. Add to dry ingredients. Stir until moist. Drop from tablespoon on top of bubbling broth, or stew. Cover tightly. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat. (Do not lift lid.) Simmer 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 5 servings.Use 1 bouillon cube for each cup of water in broth.
