Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- ice cubes - 1 item
- ginger ale - 1 qt
- cans frozen orange juice - 3 oz
- can frozen lemon juice - 1 oz
- orange, sliced thin - 1 item
- lemon or orange sherbet - 1 pt
- bottle maraschino cherries and juice - 1 oz
- sparkling water or white grape juice - 1 qt
How to make floating island punch:
Heat sugar and water until sugar dissolves; cool. Combine fruit juices, ginger ale, sparkling water and fruit. Add syrup; pour into punch bowl. Add ice cubes. Drop in sherbet by spoonful or in balls, using an ice cream dipper. Makes 20 to 25 servings.Recipe categories: Low protein, Drinks, Punch beverage.
