- water
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- reduced-calorie margarine - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- plus 2 tsp - 1 Tbsp
How to make flavorful onion soup:
Melt margarine in a large saucepan over low heat; add onion. Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes or until onion is lightly browned, stirring occasionally. Add water, bouillon granules and Worcestershire sauce, stirring well. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Serve hot. Yields 4 servings at 3/4 cup each. Calories: 28.
