Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- cold water - 3 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- Crisco - 1 c
How to make flaky pie crust:
Blend flour, shortening and salt. Cut in shortening until pieces are the size of small peas. Beat egg; mix with water and vinegar. Add to flour mixture and toss lightly with fork. Roll out onto floured board or wax paper. Makes 3 single crusts.Note: Crust can be frozen or bake at 350° until golden brown.
