Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- can beef broth - 1 item
- green peppers, chopped - 1/2 c
- carrots, cut up - 5 item
- Minute tapioca - 3 Tbsp
- stewing beef - 2 lb
- medium size onions, chopped - 2 item
- potatoes, cut in half - 4 item
How to make five hour stew:
Do not brown beef. Put all ingredients in casserole. Put bay leaf on top. Cook in oven at 300°, covered. Do not peek.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Main dish, One Dish meal.
