Ingredients/Components
- beef stew meat - 2 lb
- medium potatoes, diced into large pieces - 6 item
- carrots, diced into large pieces - 6 item
- stalks celery, diced into large pieces - 6 item
- green pepper, diced into large pieces - 1 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- sugar - 3 tsp
- tapioca - 3 tsp
- large can V-8 juice - 1 item
How to make five hour stew:
Put first five ingredients into a large roasting pan. Mix next four ingredients, sprinkle on top of the meat and vegetables. Do not mix. Pour V-8 juice over the stew. Bake 5 hours at 250°.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Main dish, One Dish meal.
