Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- stalks celery, chopped - 2 item
- can green beans - 1 lb
- can kidney beans - 1 lb
- bacon - 1/2 lb
- can wax beans - 1 lb
- can lima beans - 1 lb
- can B & M baked beans - 1 lb
- sausage, browned, save drippings - 1 lb
How to make five bean casserole:
Saute celery, green pepper and onion in sausage drippings until tender. In large roaster, combine all of the ingredients except bacon. Put bacon on top. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Side dish, Beans, 3 steps or less.
