Ingredients/Components
- onion, diced - 1/4 item
- peppercorns - 5 item
- hot sauce - 3 tsp
- consomme - 1 Tbsp
- tomato, diced - 1 item
- cabbage, diced - 1/2 item
- small carrots, diced - 2 item
- jalapenos, diced and seeded - 2 item
- cilantro as desired - 1 item
- fish, cubed catfish is preferred but haddock is also good - 1 item
How to make fish stew:
Stir-fry vegetables until onion is translucent and cabbage has changed color. Add water and consomme. Add salt, peppercorns, hot sauce and cilantro. Boil until vegetables are tender. Add fish, return to boil and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, Fish, Stew.
