Ingredients/Components
- salt
- water - 4 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 tsp
- chopped fresh parsley - 1 item
- diced potatoes - 6 c
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- whole milk - 3 c
- cut up fish - 2 lb
How to make fish chowder:
In kettle brown onion in oleo. Add water and bring to boil. Add potatoes; cook 10 minutes. Add fish and lemon juice. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add milk, salt, pepper and parsley.I sometimes add 1 cup frozen vegetables when I cook the potatoes.
