Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 4 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- sifted flour - 3 c
- Blend in well beaten eggs, mixed with milk
How to make filled coffee cake:
Stir first 4 ingredients into butter and blend well. Blend in well beaten eggs, mixed with milk. Blend in vanilla and beat just to mix. Pour 1/2 batter in well-greased and floured large loaf pan or 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of filling. Add rest of batter and top with filling. Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.Filling:1 c. brown sugar4 Tbsp. flour4 tsp. cinnamon4 Tbsp. melted butter1 c. chopped nuts Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon and blend in melted butter.
