Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 lb
- vinegar - 1 pt
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- figs - 7 lb
How to make fig pickles:
1st Day: Bring sugar and vinegar to boil. Drop in figs and cook 20 minutes. Pour into bowl and let set overnight.2nd Day: Bring vinegar to boil and pour over figs.
3rd Day: Bring vinegar and figs to a boil. Put in jars and seal.
