- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 2/3 c
- plain flour
- cloves - 1 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- figs - 2 c
How to make fig cake:
Cream sugar, oil and eggs together; add flour, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, soda, salt, buttermilk and nuts. Stir in figs. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Southern u.s..
