Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- water - 1 Tbsp
- raisins - 2 Tbsp
- orange juice - 1/2 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- dried oregano, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- snipped parsley - 1/4 c
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- hot cooked rice - 3 c
- finely chopped onions - 1/2 c
- chopped pimento - 2 Tbsp
- several dashes of hot pepper sauce - 1 item
- boned skinless chicken breasts, cut in 1-inch pieces - 12 oz
How to make fiesta chicken:
In a large skillet, combine tomato sauce, orange juice, onion, raisins, pimiento, oregano, chili powder, garlic and hot pepper sauce. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in chicken; return to boiling. Cover and simmer 1Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
