  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • dark corn syrup - 1 c
  • whole pecans - 1 c
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make favorite pecan pie:

Beat eggs, sugar and corn syrup together. Add pecans, salt and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350°. Complete baking 20 to 25 minutes. Brush with butter, if desired. Can be served with whipped cream.
