Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 2/3 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts optional - 1 c
  • or 4 sq - 4 oz

How to make fantastic brownies:

Melt chocolate and butter (if using melted chocolate mix with butter in pan) over low heat. Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir flour, baking powder and salt together. Add chocolate and melted butter and mix altogether. Put it in a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan and spread. Bake about 30 minutes in a 350° oven and let cool. Cut into squares.
