Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• ground cloves - 1/4 tsp
• ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
• ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
• eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
• can solid pack pumpkin - 1 oz
• oz - 1 fl
• 9-inch unbaked pie shell with high fluted edge - 1 item

How to make famous pumpkin pie:

Preheat oven to 425°. Combine filling ingredients in order given; pour into pie shell. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350° and bake an additional 45 minutes or until knife inserted near center of pie comes out clean. Cool; garnish, if desired, with whipped topping or glaze. Yields 1 (9-inch) pie.
