Ingredients/Components
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- unsifted flour
- can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- coarsely chopped nuts - 1 c
- mixed candied fruit - 2 c
- jar None Such ready-to-serve mincemeat regular, brandy or rum - 1 oz
How to make ever-so-easy fruitcake:
Preheat oven to 300°. Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan. Combine flour and baking soda; set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared Bundt pan. Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes or until wooden pick comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Turn out of pan. I have also baked this in 2 loaf pans, reducing baking time.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Grains.
