Ever-so-easy fruitcake
Ingredients/Components
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- unsifted flour
- 1 lb - 2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- jar None Such ready to use mincemeat - 1 oz
- pecan or walnut pieces - 1 c
- can Eagle Brand sweetened milk not evaporated milk - 1 oz
How to make ever-so-easy fruitcake:
Preheat oven to 300°. Grease a 9-inch tube pan, line with wax paper and grease again (or use generously greased and floured 10-inch fluted tube pan). Sift together flour and baking soda, set aside. In large bowl mix remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes.
