Escalloped tomatoes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- soft bread crumbs - 2 c
- onion salt
- 2 can tomatoes or 4 large, fresh tomatoes, peeled and diced
How to make escalloped tomatoes:
Put tomatoes into 4-cup buttered casserole. Add half the bread crumbs and mix. Stir in onion salt and sugar. Brown rest of bread crumbs in the butter and sprinkle over top of casserole. Place in 375° oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until hot through. Makes 5 servings.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
