  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • bread crumbs old French bread is good - 1 c
  • can creamed corn - 1 oz
  • chopped pimiento - 3 Tbsp
  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • bread crumbs for topping - 1/2 c
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp

How to make escalloped corn:

Combine egg, milk and bread. Let sit a few minutes, then mix in food processor using a pulse-off procedure. Combine with all ingredients. Turn into a 1-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean. Sprinkle with buttere
