Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- milk - 1 c
- bread crumbs old French bread is good - 1 c
- can creamed corn - 1 oz
- chopped pimiento - 3 Tbsp
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- bread crumbs for topping - 1/2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
How to make escalloped corn:
Combine egg, milk and bread. Let sit a few minutes, then mix in food processor using a pulse-off procedure. Combine with all ingredients. Turn into a 1-quart casserole. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean. Sprinkle with buttereRecipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
