Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1 item
- vinegar
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- fish steaks - 2 lb
- round onion, sliced - 1 item
- piece ginger, minced - 3/4-i item
- to 2 bell peppers, cut into rings - 1 item
- can pineapple chunks save liquid - 1 1/2
- liquid from pineapple - 1 item
How to make escabeche:
Sauce:1/4 c. vinegar1/4 c. sugar1 c. water liquid from pineapple1 Tbsp. cornstarch Lightly salt and pepper fish. Dredge with flour. Brown fish on both sides in hot oil. Set fish aside on a large platter and keep warm. Remove all but 2 tablesRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Fish.
