- flour - 1 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 item
- chili sauce - 1 Tbsp
- stalks celery - 2 item
- bell pepper - 1/2 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- bay leaves - 2 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- large onion - 1/2 item
- cans English peas, drained - 2 item
- can mushrooms or water chestnuts - 1 item
How to make english pea casserole:
Mix onions, celery, tomatoes, tomato sauce, bell pepper, flour, Worcestershire sauce (drained), peas and mushrooms. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake in oven until hot through. Sliced eggs may be used instead of cheese. Serves 10 to 12.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Casseroles.
