Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- tomato sauce - 1 can
- flour tortillas - 8 item
- Cheddar or Longhorn cheese, grated - 1 c
How to make enchilada pie:
Brown onions and ground beef. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, chili powder and tomato sauce. Place 4 tortillas in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch casserole. Place half of the meat over the top and then half of the cheese. Repeat the layers. Pour 1/2 cup water around the edge and bake at 400° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, Savory pies.
