Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • sour cream - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Dijon mustard - 2 tsp
  • shredded lettuce - 3 c
  • 4 oz - 1 c
  • minced fresh parsley - 2 Tbsp
  • chopped green onions - 1/4 c
  • mayo - 1 c
  • hard-cooked eggs, sliced - 2 item
  • julienned hard salami - 1 c
  • uncooked shell macaroni
  • julienned fully cooked ham - 1 c

How to make eight layer salad:

Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain and rinse. Drizzle with oil; toss to coat. Place lettuce, macaroni, eggs, salt, pepper, ham, salami and peas in that order in 2 1/2-quart trifle dish. Combine mayo, sour cream, onions and mustard. Spread over top. Cover and refrigerate for several hours. Just before serving, sprinkle with cheese and parsley.
