Eight layer quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- half and half - 1 pt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 4 oz
- chopped green onion - 1/4 c
- sausage - 1/2 lb
- deep-dish pie shell - 1 item
- strips bacon, diced - 4 item
- ham, cut into pieces - 1/2 lb
- chicken breasts, cut into small pieces - 2 item
How to make eight layer quiche:
Saute pepper, onion, mushrooms, sausage, ham, bacon and chicken together in a large skillet. Simmer for 6 to 8 minutes. Drain and place in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell. Top with cheese. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Add half and half and the flour to the eggs and mix until smooth. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350° and continue baking 20 to 25 minutes or until set. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Savory pies, Low Carb.
