Eggnog
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 12 item
- whipping cream - 1 qt
- grated nutmeg - 2 tsp
- bourbon - 1 c
How to make eggnog:
Whip cream until stiff. Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Break eggs and separate. Beat egg yolks, slowly adding 1 cup sugar. Beat until sugar is dissolved and smooth.Whip egg whites to frothy peaks by adding 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Mix yolks with bourbon. Add whipping cream and fold in egg whites. Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
