Ingredients/Components
- egg rolls you can buy in International store or Chinese store - 2 oz
- shrimp or pork - 4 oz
- 2 oz
- cabbage - 4 oz
- 4 oz
- salt - 1 item
- monosodium glutamate - 1 item
- white pepper - 1 item
- cornstarch - 1 item
- cooking wine - 1 item
- Slice thinly the shrimp or pork
- sugar - 3/4 tsp
- sesame oil - 1/2 tsp
How to make egg rolls:
Of course, you can use your favorite meat and vegetables as ingredients.Slice thinly the shrimp or pork. Shred all other ingredients. Season meat with salt, monosodium glutamate, white pepper, cornstarch and cooking wine. Simmer for approximately 15 minutes. In a shallow pan, fry all ingredients, except sauce. Add the sauce, allowing the sauce to cook with the ingredients for a few minutes. Spoon some of the mixture onto an egg roll skin and wrap. Deep fry at 350°, or use at least 1/2 inch of oil at 350° for 3 or 4 minutes, turning on both sides for even color. When egg rolls are a golden brown color, they are ready to serve.Sauce:1/2 Tbsp. water3/4 tsp. sugar1 tsp. salt3/4 tsp. monosodium glutamate1/2 tsp. sesame oil2 tsp. cornstarch Combine all ingredients.
