Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- chicken broth - 3 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- dash of white pepper - 1 item
- medium green onion with top, chopped - 1 item
How to make egg drop soup:
In a 2-quart saucepan, heat broth, salt and white pepper to a rolling boil (if broth is not heated to a rolling boil, eggs will not form threads!). Stir green onion into eggs. Pour egg mixture slowly into broth, stirring constantly with a fork, until egg forms threads. 3 servings.Recipe categories: Egg, Soups & stews, Clear soup.
