Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- cold water - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- seasoned chicken broth - 3 c
How to make egg drop soup:
Heat the chicken broth in pan. Combine cornstarch and cold water and stir until smooth. Stir into hot chicken broth and cook until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Beat egg with whisk until frothy. Gently stir into simmering broth and turn off heat immediately. Egg should float like a cloud to surface. Serve immediately.
