Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- milk - 1/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- margarine, softened
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make egg custard pie:
Cream margarine and sugar in bowl. Beat in eggs, salt and vanilla. Stir in milk gradually. Sprinkle nutmeg over batter. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° until pie shell is good and brown and mixture is set. Remove from oven. Cool for 1 hour. Serve.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, < 60 mins.
