  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • margarine, softened
  • eggs, well beaten - 3 item
  • dash of nutmeg - 1 item
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make egg custard pie:

Cream margarine and sugar in bowl. Beat in eggs, salt and vanilla. Stir in milk gradually. Sprinkle nutmeg over batter. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350° until pie shell is good and brown and mixture is set. Remove from oven. Cool for 1 hour. Serve.
