  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 2 Tbsp
  • milk - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • melted butter - 3 Tbsp
  • dash of salt - 1 item

How to make egg custard pie:

Beat eggs until foamy. Add sugar; add milk and beat well. Add butter, vanilla, nutmeg and salt. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 30 minutes exactly at 400°. If filling is still soft in middle, it will get firm after removing from oven. If oven temperature is correct, this recipe always bakes perfectly.
