  • slices bread, cubed - 12 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 3/4 lb
  • eggs - 8 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/4 c

How to make egg casserole:

Layer bread and cheese in greased 9 x 12-inch pan. Mix together milk, eggs, salt and mustard. Pour over bread and cheese. Let set overnight. Before baking, pour 1/4 cup melted butter over the top. Bake at 350° for 40 to 60 minutes. Serves 10 to 12. Great for breakfast!
