Egg casserole



  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
  • slices white bread - 8 item
  • eggs, beaten can use Egg Beaters - 8 item
  • milk or low-fat milk - 4 c
  • bacon, fried crisp or turkey bacon, fried crisp and crumbled - 1 lb

How to make egg casserole:

Remove crusts from bread. Cut bread into cubes. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered baking dish. Combine eggs and milk in a large bowl. Mix well. Pour over bread cubes. Sprinkle with cheese and seasoning. Cover. Refrigerate overnight. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Serve immediately.
