Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- slices bread, cubed - 3 item
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- mild sausage, cooked and drained - 1 lb
How to make egg and cheese casserole:
Brown sausage and drain. In Osterizer or use hand mixer, mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Pour over bread cubes. Add drained sausage. Sprinkle cheese. Use an 8 x 12-inch glass pan. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350° until set. Test with knife. Can refrigerate overnight.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Cheese, Casseroles.
