Egg and broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- carton small curd cottage cheese - 1 oz
- pkg - 1 oz
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- onion, chopped - 3 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make egg and broccoli casserole:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Pour into a greased slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Stir. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours longer until eggs are set. Sprinkle with additional cheese if desired.Note: I use fresh broccoli and I bake it in a 9 x 13 pan for 35 minutes if I'm in a hurry. Sometimes I add cauliflower to it also.
