Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- molasses - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 2 c
- white flour - 1 c
- buttermilk from skim - 2 c
How to make easy whole wheat bread:
Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk and molasses and mix thoroughly. Pour into bread pan and let stand for 1 hour. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.Makes 1 loaf, 20 sliced per loaf. Has 110 calories, trace of fat.
