  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • molasses - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 1 c
  • whole wheat flour - 2 c
  • white flour - 1 c
  • buttermilk from skim - 2 c

How to make easy whole wheat bread:

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in milk and molasses and mix thoroughly. Pour into bread pan and let stand for 1 hour. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.

Makes 1 loaf, 20 sliced per loaf. Has 110 calories, trace of fat.
