Easy summer salad
Ingredients/Components
- assorted fresh vegetables such as sliced carrots, zucchini, celery, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, radishes, cucumbers, cauliflower, broccoli flowerets or chopped tomatoes - 5 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- dried dill weed - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
How to make easy summer salad:
Step 1: If desired, precook carrots, cauliflower and onions for 1 minute in boiling water. Drain.Step 2: Combine vinegar, salad oil, dill weed, salt, mustard, garlic powder and pepper in a screw top jar. Cover and shake well to mix.
Step 3: In a large bowl, combine vegetables and dressing. Toss to coat. Cover and chill 2 to 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Drain.
