Easy salisbury steak
Ingredients/Components
- egg - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/4 c
- bread or cracker crumbs - 1/3 c
- sliced mushrooms optional
- lean ground beef or chuck - 1 lb
- may sprinkle lightly with steak seasoning - 1 item
How to make easy salisbury steak:
In a bowl, mix well 1/4 cup of the soup, beef, crumbs, egg and onion. Shape firmly into desired number of patties (about 6). In skillet over medium-high heat, fry patties until browned on both sides. Drain off all drippings. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms, if desired. Return patties to skillet. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 minutes or until done, turning patties occasionally.Recipe categories: Low calorie, Very low carbs, Main dish.
