- jar Tomato & Basil Sauce - 1 item
- box Cavetelli
- can Fancy White Bean - 1 item
- extra virgin olive oil - 1 tbsp
- romano - 1 tbsp
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- Chopped fresh basil - 1 item
How to make easy pasta fagioli:
Cook cavetelli in 4 qts. boiling water until al dente, then drain. Set aside. Place oil and garlic in large frying pan. Saut?© until golden brown, Remove garlic and discard. Add tomato and basil sauce and beans. Saut?© until hot. Add the cooked cavetelli. Stir and let simmer 2-3 mins. Top with cheese and fresh basil.Recipe categories: Low cholesterol, Low fat.
