Easy oven stew
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cans tomato paste - 2 oz
- celery - 1 c
- Wesson oil - 2 Tbsp
- small carrots - 4 item
- beef, cut up for stew - 2 lb
- small potatoes, halved - 4 item
How to make easy oven stew:
Combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika in bag. Drop beef portions in a few at a time. Shake until coated. Mix with Wesson oil in 3-quart casserole. Bake uncovered at 400° for 30 minutes. Stir once; add vegetables, tomato paste and water. Bake at 350° for 1 3/4 hours.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, One Dish meal.
